PRIMARY PE & sports premium
The Primary PE and Sport Premium (PESSPA) is a government funding program that will continue for the 2024–2025 academic year.
The program aims to improve the quality of PE and sports in primary schools, and to ensure that PE and school sport are fun, inclusive, and engaging for all children.
At Ravensthorpe we are committed to supporting and encouraging children across the whole curriculum, and we passionately believe sport can give children the drive, determination and resilience they need to succeed. This year we have aim to:
-
Ensure pupils have access to at least 2 hours of physical activity per week
-
Increase parental engagement in sporting events at school
-
Raise the profile of sport across school
-
Learn about the behaviours and attitudes to be a good sports person
Funding allocation for 2024-2025: £19,400
